eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result v883 PARANOIA one-sheet movie poster '69 Lenzi, Paranoia! Date Sold 1/25/2005Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Orgasmo (released in the U.S. as "Paranoia"), the 1969 Umberto Lenzi French/Italian giallo horror crime suspense thriller ("Love is the tool that strips a jet-set widow bare of her morals and her millions!"; "Paranoia sucks you into a whirlpool of erotic love!") starring Carroll Baker, Lou Castel, Colette Descombes, Tino Carraro, Lilla Brigone, and France Pesce. Note that this is one of three movies in a trilogy: the first was "Orgasmo" in 1969, which was released in the U.S. as "Paranoia". The second was "Cosi dolce... cosi perversa", also from 1969, which was released in the U.S. as "So Sweet... So Perverse". The third was "Paranoia" from 1970, but since the first movie in the trilogy had already been released in the U.S. under that name, they released this one as "A Quiet Place to Kill", which causes much confusion among fans of this trilogy! Note that Carroll Baker had had a significant career in U.S. movies, starting with "Baby Doll" in 1954 and continuing through "Harlow" in 1965. But after that, good parts in the U.S. became scarce, and she made an Italian/Spanish movie, "L'Harem", and apparently liked it, because she moved to Europe, where she spent several years making mostly Italian and German movies, before getting married in 1982.
