An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Dance of the Vampires (released in the U.S. as "The Fearless Vampire Killers" and "Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are In My Neck", "Your Teeth in My Neck", and as "The Fearless Vampire Killers Or Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are In My Neck"), the 1967 Roman Polanski English/U.S. vampire monster horror comedy thriller ("Who says Vampires are no laughing matter?"; "You'll never know what bit you... but you'll love it!") starring Jack MacGowran, Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, Alfie Bass, Ferdy Mayne (as the vampire shown on the posters!), Jessie Robins, Fiona Lewis, and Terry Downes (the English World Middleweight Boxing Champion, as Koukol, the Servant!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Frank Frazetta Important Added Info: Note that the title and tagline on this poster is printed with a special "dayglo" orange coloring. For some reason, it is incredibly difficult to accurately photograph that with a modern day camera. It often appears to be a more yellow color, but it absolutely has orange dayglo coloring on the title and tagline. Also, note that famous illustrator Frank Frazetta did the fine artwork in the lower half of the image, but we do not know who did the art in the top half of the image. It resembles the art on Italian posters for this movie by Silvano "Nano" Campeggi (but it seems likely that Campeggi based his art on this poster), so we cannot be certain who created the artwork for this part of the poster. If anyone knows for sure (no guessing!), please e-mail us and we will post it here. Finally, note that this poster was stamped "DOMESTIC" which means it was printed for use within the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "FOREIGN" for use outside the United States). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen at the top and bottom of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
