An Original Vintage 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] News Photo (Learn More) Lee Duncan was a former soldier and dog trainer from the 1910s to the 1950s. He is best known for finding and rescuing a German Shepherd he named Rin Tin Tin, later training him to perform a variety of stunts, and putting him in the movies. He also bred the dog, and several of Rin Tin Tin's offspring were in films and movies! Duncan passed away in 1960 at the age of 67 AND Rin Tin Tin Jr. was a German Shepherd dog and son of famous canine actor Rin Tin Tin. He starred in a number of films, but he was not the equal of his famous father. Some of his movies include: The Pride of the Legion, Law of the Wild, and Hollywood Cavalcade.
