Lee silent family relationship romantic ocean seafaring sailing riches-to-rags melodrama (an incredibly implausible story of a young man whose family was once one of the first families of their seafaring village; he has three shiftless brothers, and he turns to robbing ships in order to finance his brothers' educations so that his family can once again be illustrious; meanwhile, a leading young woman of the town likes him, but calls him 'white trash'; many years go by, and the three brothers are now a minister, a lawyer, and a doctor, and the fourth brother, having accomplished his goal of restoring his family's reputation, pays back everyone he robbed, and turns himself in!; he is tried and convicted, but is paroled into the leading woman's custody!) starring Fay Wray, Gary Cooper, Lane Chandler, Leslie Fenton, and Paul Fix.
