An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Man and the Moment, the 1929 George Fitzmaurice female pilot airplane aviation romantic love triangle comedy (about a female aviatrix and how she comes between a millionaire and his girlfriend; the movie was a part talkie with music with synchronized sound) starring Billie Dove, Rod La Rocque, Gwen Lee, Robert Schable, and Charles Sellon. Note that this was believed to be a "lost" film (which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist), but a copy has recently been found in an Italian archive and restored. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two scene lobby cards from this movie, and we have never before auctioned this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is a pinhole in each corner, and the one at lower left was slightly enlarged, and someone put clear tape on the back of that hole. There are some faint smudges, stains, and a few tiny creases around the edges. Other than the above defects, which mostly only affect the blank white borders, the card is in pretty good condition. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
