William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, the 1953 Joseph L. Mankiewicz Rome Italy historical epic ("MGM's Acclaimed Production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar"; "Enjoy the dramatic highlights from 'Julius Caesar' in the MGM records album"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; based on the famous play by William Shakespeare) starring Marlon Brando (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; "as Mark Antony"), James Mason ("as Brutus"), John Gielgud ("as Cassius"), Louis Calhern (in the title role "as Julius Caesar"), Edmond O'Brien ("as Casca"), Greer Garson ("as Calpurnia"), and Deborah Kerr ("as Portia")

Important Added Info: Note that this script is from July 7, 1952. Also note that the writers are not credited on this but that the movie credits Joseph L. Mankiewicz. There is a sticker at the top center of the cover of the script that says "No 211". It is perforated at the bottom and attached to it was a 3" x 4" piece that would be separated on the perforation and the person borrowing this Script Department copy would fill in that bottom section, so that the studio would know who took the copy. That bottom section is present, but it is separated from the top piece along the perforation, so we have photographed it tucked into the first interior page. Also note that there are a multitude of revision pages from many different dates from between 7/8/52 and 7/18/52 (apparently this script was revised over and over, which must have driven the actors crazy!)

Condition: good to very good. There are many stains on the cover, but otherwise, the script is in pretty good condition!
