Date Sold 11/27/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 1 circa 1978 box of Elvis Presley bubble gum cards (containing 36 unopened packs of trading cards in the original carton) and 1 circa 2000s mini-CD picture disc (entitled "Elvis Second to None", which contains three Elvis videos). Elvis Presley was the most popular actor/rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musician of all time. Dubbed the "King of Rock and Roll", he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century. His energized interpretations of songs and sexually provocative performance style, combined with a singularly potent mix of influences across color lines during a transformative era in race relations, led him to both great success and initial controversy. Having sold over 500 million records worldwide, Presley is recognized as the best-selling solo music artist of all time by Guinness World Records. Some of his movies include: Blue Hawaii, Love Me Tender, Viva Las Vegas, and Jailhouse Rock. He passed away in 1977 at the age of 42. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1970s to the 2000s.
