"'Don't try to get rid of me for another woman... ...it won't work!"'; based on the novel 'Build My Gallows High' by Daniel Mainwaring; a great story of a private investigator who is hired by a gangster to find his missing mistress, and he does so, but then he falls for her, and starts a romance with her, even though he knows he is likely signing his death warrant) starring Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, Kirk Douglas (in his third movie role!), Rhonda Fleming, Richard Webb, Steve Brodie, Dickie Moore, Virginia Huston, Paul Valentine, and Ken Niles NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded by hand in each direction and there are creases along the horizontal fold. There are smudges, creases, and tiny tears in the borders, with some smudges in the yellow background areas. There was small paper loss in the left of the top blank border and in the top right corner, and someone taped replacement pieces to the back of those blank areas, and also put tape on the back of two border tears, but did not do any other restoration. I would think many collectors could happily display this great poster just as it is, or certainly, it could have professional restoration performed, but either way, it will look wonderful on the new owner's wall!
