Plein Soleil (released in the U.S. in 1961 as "Purple Noon"), the 1960 Rene Clement French/Italian romantic love triangle crime suspense thriller ("Was there ever a stranger friend? A more Designing, insolent lover? A story more diabolique?"; "Passion at ten. Envy at eleven. Murder at noon."; based on the novel 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' by Patricia Highsmith; about a social climbing handsome young man who befriends a rich young man who is squandering his father's money and has a beautiful girlfriend, and the first man decides to kill the second so he can assume his life!) starring Alain Delon, Marie Laforet, Maurice Ronet, Elvire Popesco, Erno Crisa, and Frank Latimore. Note that this movie was remade in 1999 using the original title of the novel, starring Matt Damon and Jude Law.

Condition: very good to fine. there is a light water stain in the center of the top border (in the white background area only); there is 1" of separation at the top of the vertical foldline and a 1" tear 1" to the right of that; there is a 1/2" tear in the right of the bottom blank border; there are very minor creases and smudges along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster
