She was "discovered" in France by Gene Kelly, who helped her to get a role in Hollywood starring opposite him in An American in Paris! Some of her movies include: Lili (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Gigi, Daddy Long Legs, Fanny, The L-Shaped Room (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Father Goose. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 90! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Leslie Caron! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic!
