An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Ghosts on the Loose (released in England as "Ghosts in the Night"), the 1943 William Beaudine teen juvenile delinquent horror comedy starring Bela Lugosi, The East Side Kids (including Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, and Bobby Jordan), Stanley Clements, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, Ava Gardner, and Blanche Payson. Note that this was gorgeous Ava Gardner's 14th movie, but she had been uncredited in all previous 13 movies! The makers of this movie gave her a written credit, and there is a small image of her on the one-sheet and three-sheet (but the six-sheet has that small image, plus a much larger image of her). The poster has paper loss at the center crossfold and a few inches under the bottom crossfold and both are backed by tape and paper (see our image). It has a few tiny creases and tears along portions of the vertical foldline and some pinholes around the edges. There are a few collector stamps on back of the blank borders that slightly bleed through to the front but they are not very noticeable or distracting. After linenbacking with some restoration to the above defects the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
