An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) South Sea Sinner, the 1950 H. Bruce Humberstone high seas sailor romantic adventure thriller ("From the sensational screenplay 'East of Java'") starring Shelley Winters, Macdonald Carey, Helena Carter, Luther Adler, Frank Lovejoy, and Liberace (billed as "New sensation of the piano!"; in his first movie!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had creases and scuffs on parts of some foldlines with some tiny surface paper loss in the bottom horizontal foldline. There were pinholes in the corners and some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
