Ringo for President, the 1964 special poster featuring art of Beatle's drummer Ringo Starr. "Ringo for President" was a 1964 novelty song by The Young World Singers, which was released during the 1964 U.S. presidential elections. Some Beatles fans started touting Starr as a write-in candidate, and others went to the Republican National Convention in California with signs referring to the song title. Of course, it's also possible that the poster came before the song.
