An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) This Was Paris, the 1942 John Harlow World War II (WWII) France spy espionage military romantic melodrama ("Based on an original story by Gordon Wellesley and Basil Woon"; about France in 1940 right before it fell to the Nazis, and Dvorak is an American fashion designer in Paris, and she is suspected of being part of the "Fifth Column", trying to bring down France from within) starring Ann Dvorak, Ben Lyon, Griffith Jones, Robert Morley, Harold Huth, Mary Maguire, Vera Boggetti, and Harry Welchman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation, tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had pinholes around the edges. It had ink transfer in the bottom center solid black area. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking.
