Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Some Like It Hot, the classic 1959 Billy Wilder (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic musical cross-dressing drag crime comedy ("Hot!!!"; about two out of work musicians who happen to witness the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago, and they need to leave town in a hurry, but the only jobs they can get is with an all-girl band, and they dress in drag, and one of the band members is Marilyn Monroe!) starring Marilyn Monroe ("and her bosom companions"), Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), George Raft, Pat O'Brien, and Joe E. Brown (the great star of 1920s and 1930s slapstick comedy, who practically steals this movie with a wonderful comic performance and an unforgettable final line!) Condition: very good. the top and bottom 1" of the poster was folded back at one time; there are small creases down the bottom half of the vertical foldline, and to a lesser extent throughout the poster; there was 6" of separation at the left of the middle foldline, which was repaired with white tape from the back; there was 1" of separation at the right of the middle foldline, which was repaired with brown tape from the back; there are multiple tack holes in each corner and in the center of each border; the bottom blank border has pink in it, which appears to be a minor printing defect; The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! The image area of the poster is in basically nice condition (no paper loss anywhere), and the colors are bright. Its defects are mostly minor and would vanish if it were linenbacked and the poster would look wonderful! Learn More about condition grades
