a lot of 15 issues of Box Office Buyer's Directory. Note that once a year, Boxoffice magazine would issue a special magazine called "Boxoffice Buyer's Directory", and that issue would be filled with ads from companies that made everything that theaters needed, from projector equipment to seats to anything and everything else that you would find in a movie theater, including, of course, popcorn machines! In the 1940s, this was called the "Red Book", and in 1950 it was changed to "Red Key", and then in 1951 it changed name for the last time, to "Buyer's Directory". Note that these were a separate section that was sent to subscribers, along with the regular issue for that week (which was at the end of November, just before the big holiday rush). These annual Buyer's Directory sections are usually much more difficult to find than the regular weekly issues. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1960s and the 1970s.
