Artist: John Solie Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had creases in the middle of the man's body extending up over the right of his face, and other creases and scuffs scattered around the target area. It had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Linenbacking has greatly reduced how noticeable the above creases and scuffs are, but they are still somewhat noticeable. Learn More about condition grades
