An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4") (Learn More) The Unholy Three, the 1925 Tod Browning silent sideshow crime thriller ("The Ventriloquist - The Dwarf - and The Giant"; "From the story by C.A. Robbins"; "Scenario by Waldemar Young"; "Presented by Louis B. Mayer"; about a trio of carnival sideshow performers who leave show business and start a major crime wave!) starring Lon Chaney Sr., Mae Busch, Matt Moore, Victor McLaglen, Harry Earles, and Alice Julian (a circus "fat lady" who performed at Ringling Brothers circus, and who apparently only made this one movie, and she was uncredited). Note that Lon Chaney re-made this movie as a "talkie" in 1930, but with a different director and cast (although Harry Earles reprised his role as the dwarf, as there was likely a shortage of top dwarf actors suitable to the role). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: ARE YOU UNFAMILIAR WITH GLASS SLIDES? Many collectors are not familiar with them, because they are incredibly rare, and are rarely offered for sale. Click HERE for a brief history of what they are and what they were used for. Note that we have provided two images at right for this glass slide. The first image is a high quality scan of just the image area of the slide that shows what it looks like with light shining through it (as it was originally seen when displayed). The second image is a photograph of the entire glass slide (including either the cardboard holder or black tape around the edges, depending on the type of glass slide it is). Clicking on either image will open a new browser window with larger, high quality versions of both images. Condition: very good to fine. the glass slide itself is in very good to fine condition; there is a faint vertical scuff line in the center of Tod Browning's credit and there area few minor imperfections around the edges of the slide; the cardboard holder has a few light rust stains on the staples (typical of glass slides); other than the above defects, the slide and the holder are in quite nice condition!
