John Fogerty is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from the 1950s to the present. He founded the band Creedence Clearwater Revival with Doug Clifford, Stu Cook, and his brother Tom Fogerty. Since CCR parted ways in 1972, he has had a successful solo career. As of 2024, he is still alive at the age of 78
