An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Local Boy Makes Good, the 1931 Mervyn LeRoy musical college university student romantic love triangle screwball comedy ("The blushing pride of the campus!"; "Based on a play by J.C. and Elliott Nugent"; about a nerdy college student who is madly in love with a beautiful coed, and he pretends to be a track star, and she convinces him to enter a big race that her boyfriend, a real star, is in, and he has to figure out a way to not let her down) starring Joe E. Brown, Dorothy Lee, Ruth Hall, Edward Woods, and Edward J. Nugent NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
