Mason; about the young widow of a European aristocrat whose family wants her to stay in mourning, but she wants a new romance, and she gets involved with a social climbing crook, played by suave Warren William) starring Warren William, Dolores Del Rio (in the title role as Inez, Duchess of Rye), Louise Fazenda, Colin Clive, Herbert Mundin, and Warren Hymer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that lobby cards from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned five "poor to fair" condition scene cards from this movie (and NO other lobby cards) until we received this title card, which we have never auctioned before! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The Warner Bros. credit at bottom right was overpainted with "A FIRST NATIONAL". There is a faint rating stamp in the right of the bottom blank border. Both these alterations were done when this movie was shown in England (we imagine that Warner Bros. had a contract in England that required this). This surely was done by the studio. There are faint smudges across the center of the card, with a faint scuff line in the middle right of the image. There are creases and pinholes in each corner, and someone performed slight touch up to the pinholes. There are faint smudges and slight darkening around the edges. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card, which certainly could be displayed as is, or one might choose to have additional restoration performed to this extremely rare card.
