It is considered one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world and has been called the "Grand Prix of Endurance and Efficiency". Unlike fixed distance races where the winner is determined by minimum time, the 24-Hours of Le Mans awards a win to the car that covers the greatest distance in 24 hours. Artist: Leygnac Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture. It is somewhat difficult to notice the extent of the staining due to the poster's colors, however it is better seen in our image in the upper portions of the title "24" at top. The upper edge was folded back at one time and likely clamped in a frame. This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that many or most of the stains can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration and linenbacking the poster will look fantastic, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
