An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Rudy Vallee was a famous band leader and actor from the 1930s through the 1950s and then took a few film roles in the 1960s and 1970s, and he added much to those movies, and seeing them makes you wish he had done more of them! Some of his best remembered movies include: The Palm Beach Story, Unfaithfully Yours, I Remember Mama, The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He passed away in 1986 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Rudy Vallee! Note that this autographed item (and many others in this set of auctions, all of which have this same paragraph on them) come from the collection of a man who recently passed away. He was confined to a wheelchair, but that did not stop him from attending all of the major collectible shows in the Northeast, including the Chiller Conventions! He would obtain many signed items from the celebrities in attendance (they sometimes personalized the autographs to him, and his name was "Jimmy"), and he also purchased a few signed items from celebrities through the mail. In the case of the items purchased through the mail, he would usually also get a "certificate of authenticity".
