What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold, with smaller paper loss at the bottom crossfold and tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold. It had some extra horizontal folds with some tiny areas of paper loss along parts of the folds and some tiny tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
