An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Rasputin and the Empress, the 1932 Richard Boleslawski historical Russia royal family melodrama ("The 3 Barrymores"; "Greatest trio on the screen!"; "Their first screen appearance together!"; "Screen Play by Charles MacArthur"; about the decline and fall of the ruling Russian family, and the strange "mad monk" Grigori Rasputin, who gained huge control over the royal family, and hastened their decline) starring John Barrymore (as Prince Paul Chegodieff), Ethel Barrymore (in the title role as Czarina Alexandra), Lionel Barrymore (in the title role as Grigori Rasputin), Ralph Morgan, Diana Wynyard, Tad Alexander, C. Henry Gordon, and Jean Parker (uncredited, as Princess Maria; in her second movie role!). This movie is best remembered because it was the three legendary Barrymores' only screen appearance together, and MGM heavily promoted that aspect of the movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: good. There is a 1" tear at bottom center that was repaired with tape from the back. There is a faint partial diagonal crease running left from the top of that tear. There are some scuffs, creases, and tiny areas of unevenness scattered throughout the image, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light.
