Contemplating a Byte, the 1981 Softalk Publishing poster featuring Robert Zraick art of a robotic humanoid sitting in the classic 'Thinker' pose while holding a rainbow colored apple similar to Apple Computer's logo. The artist had the following to say about his work. The "original poster was done as a design for a magazine cover, and was printed in a limited quantity and sold at that time. It sold out. The magazine and I had gotten permission from Apple to use the rainbow striped apple which reflected the Apple logo". The poster was reprinted in the 2000s but Apple refused to give permission to use the rainbow apple again, and the reprints feature a red apple.
