A Linenbacked Dutch Special Poster (measures 23 1/2" x 33 3/4" [60 x 86 cm]) (Learn More) the 1920s Dutch World War I (WWI) anti-war poster featuring artwork of a family dying as a result of poison gas being deployed by a bi-plane flying outside. We can find little information about this poster but it may have been produced by the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom in an effort to ban poison gas warfare. Note that we could not find out more information about this very powerful poster than what is noted above. But we are certain it is an authentic poster from after World War I, and almost surely from before 1925, when the Geneva Accords banning the use of poison gas in warfare were adopted. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had pretty minor fold and border wear, with a tiny pinhole in each corner.
