An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Autographed Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) The Little Shop of Horrors, the classic 1960 Roger Corman man-eating carnivore plant horror black comedy ("The flowers that kill in the Spring Tra-La"; "The funniest picture this year!") starring Jonathan Haze, Jackie Joseph, Mel Welles, Dick Miller, Jack Nicholson (very young in this role!), and Charles B. Griffith (as the voice of Audrey Junior, the man-eating plant!). Note that this low-budget movie was not all that well regarded in its time, but over the years, it became a cult classic, and in 1986, Frank Oz directed a musical remake. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Mel Welles! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person at a collectibles show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in the 1990s. He never saw Mr. Welles at another autograph show again, and he thinks it might have been the only time he did this. While he does not have a "certificate of authenticity", we are certain it is authentic. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. The poster has surface paper loss across the right 7 1/2" of the bottom border, and extending up into the bottom of the dark credits area (1" from the bottom edge at its widest point). What is missing is the small writing in the bottom border and solid colored areas in the bottom of the credits area, so that credits area could be recreated easily (or one might choose to display the poster as it is).
