Initially well-known for his gritty roles, his rugged looks, and famous movie quotes such as "Go ahead, make my day", he has also become a very well-regarded director. Some of his movies include: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Unforgiven (which won the Best Picture Academy Award, and for which he won the Best Director Academy Award AND was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, Dirty Harry, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Where Eagles Dare, In the Line of Fire, High Plains Drifter, Mystic River (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Million Dollar Baby (for which he won the Best Director Academy Award, and was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), Letters From Iwo Jima (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and many more. Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Finally, note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: fair to good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut, but it has a great number of creases scattered throughout all the pages. Obviously, the cover (or the whole pressbook) could be professionally flattened, which would diminish how noticeable the creases are, or it could be displayed as is, but bear in mind this defect before bidding on it.
