Where the Wild Things Are, the 1963 Maurice Sendak illustrated children's fantasy book (about a young boy named Max, who gets in trouble, and is sent to his room without dinner; his room mysteriously becomes a jungle, and he sails to an island inhabited by malicious beasts!). The book had sold over 19 million copies worldwide as of 2009, with 10 million of those being in the United States!
