Note that MGM normally made two different styles of one-sheets for each of their movies from the mid 1930s to the mid 1940s, and they were normally labeled style C and style D. For unknown reasons, there are four different first release one-sheets for this movie, and two of them are labeled style C and style D, and another one has "1SHT.BLOCK" stamped on the back, and the fourth one has "1SHT. SPECIAL" stamped on the back, and we are not sure why they made these two additional one-sheets. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this first release title card, and only one in the last 17 years! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. The card has pinholes, stains, and paint stains around the edges, with some areas of surface paper loss scattered down the right. It has a few stains and pinholes within the image. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back. Obviously, the card can be restored, and it is likely that most or all of the stains can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration, the card will display well, but bear in mind its significant defects (and look at our super-sized images) before bidding on this card.
