An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Dough and Dynamite, the 1914 Charles Chaplin bakery comedy short (produced by Mack Sennett; Chaplin is a waiter in a bakery where the bakers go on strike, and he and another waiter are told to do the baking, but the strikers put dynamite into the dough, with explosive results) starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin), Chester Conklin, Fritz Schade, Norma Nichols, Peggy Page, and Charley Chase (primarily remembered as a great silent comedian who appeared in 276 movies, most of them comedy shorts, Chase also directed 140 comedy shorts) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a first release Danish program from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind, including any U.S. paper at all) until we received this 1920s re-release lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are many stains around the edges and some faint scuffs scattered throughout the image. There is much pencil writing on the back of the card. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
