An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Bromo and Juliet, the 1926 Leo McCarey stage comedy short ("The moon wasn't half as full as Charley was."; produced by Hal Roach; the title is a parody of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" of course, and this slapstick short has Charley Chase as a young man putting on a play version of Romeo & Juliet, with his fiancee in the lead, and there are several subplots, one involving Charley's dad who has had too much to drink, and another with a cab driver, played by Oliver Hardy, who just can't seem to get paid) starring Charley Chase (primarily remembered as a great silent comedian who appeared in 276 movies, most of them comedy shorts, Chase also directed 140 comedy shorts), Corliss Palmer, William H. Orlamond, Oliver Hardy, and L.J. O'Connor NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned a lobby card from this movie, and the last item we auctioned from this movie was 12 years ago (and the last one was 11 years before that!).
