Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet (27" x 41") (Learn More) A Bridge Too Far, the 1977 Richard Attenborough English/U.S. World War II (WWII) military action epic ("In a sleepy, little Dutch town with its brick church towers and arching iron bridges, Allied paratroopers drop in deadly waves through the smoke and flack of an exploding summer sky. It is 1977 but it is World War II. It is the tragic Allied attack on the Rhine bridge at Arnhem. It is also perhaps the biggest motion picture of all time.";"Out of the sky comes the screen's most incredible spectacle of men and war!"; "It took 14 superstars and a cast of thousands to make this once-in-a-lifetime film!"; "From the book by Cornelius Ryan"; "Screenplay by William Goldman") starring (In alphabetical order) Dirk Bogarde ("Lieutenant-General 'Boy' Browning"), James Caan ("Staff Sergeant Eddie Dohun"), Michael Caine ("Lieutenant-Colonel 'Joe' Vandeleur"), Sean Connery ("Major-General Robert Urquhart"), Edward Fox ("Lieutenant-General Brian Horrocks"), Elliott Gould ("Colonel Bobby Stout"), Gene Hackman ("Major-General Stanislaw Sosabowski"), Anthony Hopkins ("Lieutenant-Colonel John Frost"), Hardy Kruger ("General Karl Ludwig"), Laurence Olivier ("Dr. Spaander"), Ryan O'Neal ("Brigadier-General James M. Gavin"), Robert Redford ("Major Julian Cook"), Maximilian Schell ("Lieutenant-General Wilhelm Bittrich"), and Liv Ullmann ("Kate ter Horst") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster was originally tri-folded only (it had two horizontal folds and no vertical fold). However, the poster was stored with other tri-folded posters, and a whole group of them were lightly "folded" over, resulting in a very slight vertical crease, and other light creases in the center of the poster (to the left and right of where the vertical fold normally is). These creases vary from poster to poster depending on whether they were near the outside of the group or near the inside. These very light creases would be greatly minimized if the poster were to be laid flat for a length of time, and they are barely noticeable or distracting. However, please do not bid on this poster if these slight creases would bother you! Condition: fine. There are extremely tiny faint minor creases in the blank borders and a few in the foldlines.
