An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Desert Outlaw, the 1924 Edmund Mortimer silent cowboy western ("A blazing story of the cowboy trails by Charles Kenyon") starring Buck Jones, Evelyn Brent, DeWitt Jennings, William Haynes, and Claude Payton. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair. There are some scuff marks in the faces of both stars. Someone glued several ads for Greyhound buses and similar images to the back of the card, but they do not affect the front of the card. The card was folded across the center at a slight diagonal and there are faint stains in the lower right and upper center.
