An Original Vintage 8" x 10" (8x10) Publicity Photo (Learn More) Eleanor Powell was an actress and legendary tap dancer from the 1930s to the 1950s, primarily in MGM musicals. She was married to Glenn Ford from 1943 to 1969, and they had one child, Peter Ford. Some of her movies include: Broadway Melody of 1936, Thousands Cheer, and Honolulu. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 69. Important Added Info: Note that this is a type of publicity photo that companies in the 1930s created and theaters would order them by the hundreds or thousands, and pass them out in place of heralds on the street, or they would give them as souvenirs to people after they watched the movie. They are printed on a paper that is not photo paper, and are somewhat glossy on both sides. The photo was made at the time of the first release of the movie. Condition: very good to fine.
