An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style D One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Bad Man, the 1941 Richard Thorpe south-of-the-border cowboy western ("Based on the play by Porter Emerson Browne"; about a notorious Mexican bandit whose life is saved by an American, and when that man's ranch is in danger of being foreclosed, the bandit not only robs a bank to get the money to bail him out, but he also shoots the man who is married to the woman the American loves, so that he will be free to marry her!) starring Wallace Beery ("His great NEW 1941 thrill drama!"), Lionel Barrymore, Laraine Day, Ronald Reagan (fourth billed), Henry Travers, and Chill Wills NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had tears and areas of paper loss down the vertical foldline and pinholes, smudges, and stains around the edges of the poster.
