Movie Posters: The Paintings of Batiste Madalena, the 1986 softcover illustrated book ("An appreciation by Anthony Slide"; with an introduction by Judith Katten) featuring mostly full-color and full-page images of the movie poster artwork of Batiste Madalena. Note that Batiste Madalena was commissioned between 1924 and 1928 by George Eastman of the Eastman Theater in Rochester, New York, to create a large series of custom painted 22" x 44" posters for movies including: The Ten Commandments, Son of the Sheik, The Lost World, The Freshman, and many more!

Condition: good to very good. Like almost all examples of this book I have seen, the spine has somewhat dried out, and there is separation at the spine when you open the book to some of the interior pages. Otherwise, it is in nice condition.
