(released in other English-speaking countries as "Stop That Camel"), the 1976 Joe Camp military U.S. Cavalry camel comedy ("A riotous adventure about camels in the cavalry from Mulberry Square Productions"; "It's a rollicking, crazy, absurd new comedy based [very loosely] on an actual U.S. Calvary experiment that almost made the United States a nation on camel back. Very possibly the funniest motion picture of the decade"; "a family film by Joe Camp") starring James Hampton ("The green young lieutenant charged with turning veteran Horse Soldiers into Camel Soldiers"), Christopher Connelly ("The veteran Horse Soldier who suddenly find himself rising to new heights"), Slim Pickens ("The loud-mouthed HorseSoldier who thinks camels are the best things to ever happen...to Christopher Connelly"), Denver Pyle, Gene Confronti, Mimi Maynard, Jack Elam ("as Bad Jack Cutter"), Lee De Broux, Herb Vigran, Dick Drake, Larry Swartz, Mike Travis, Tiny Wells, and introducing Sheba, Queenie, Tsetse, Tanya, Khartoum, Blanca, Wimpy, and Valentine ("a lovable scene-stealing baby camel"). All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN EIGHT OF THEM (and we pretty much picked eight stills at random). Condition: very good. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition.
