An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Her Own Money, the 1922 Joseph Henabery silent romantic comedy ("Adapted from the play by Mark Swan"; about a successful businesswoman who marries a man who tries to control her; she secretly saves money to buy a house, but when she finds her husband in financial need, she gives him the money he needs secretly; when he finds out, he is furious and leaves her; later, he pays her back and apologizes, and when she goes to buy the house she wanted, she finds out that her husband has also paid for that, and they reconcile) starring Ethel Clayton, Warner Baxter (in his fifth credited role), Charles K. French, Clarence Burton, and Mae Busch. Note that Warner Baxter was born in 1889, and in the early 1920s he rose to prominence in silent movies, becoming a major star of the 1920s, while he was in his 30s. He won the Oscar for Best Actor as The Cisco Kid in "In Old Arizona" in 1929, and he remained a top star throughout the 1930s.
