Artist: Richard Amsel Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has very slight darkening and tiny creases and parts of the outer edges of the borders. It has 4 stains on back of the top center of the poster that slightly bleed through to the front to varying degrees above the words "Indiana Jones" (see our image). Otherwise, the front of the poster is in surprisingly nice condition, however, the back of the top 8" of the poster and the bottom of the 16" of the poster have darkening, but very fortunately it does not affect the front, except for the small stains in the top blank border described above. There are also many drip stains on the back of the bottom of the poster between 6" from the bottom and 12" from the bottom but those two do not show through to the front. It is very fortunate that 40x60s are printed on a heavy paper stock where stains do not show through. I would think that some collectors to leave this as it is, some would choose to have solely the stains in the top blank border restored, and some would have all of the stains and darkening on the back of the poster that do not show through to the front restored. This will be the choice of the new owner of this desirable poster. Learn More about condition grades
