An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Yoke's on Me, the 1944 Jules White World War II (WWII) Home Front farming slapstick comedy short ("They're riding high with a carload of comedy!"; the Stooges want to enlist in the army during World War II, but they are rejected for being unfit, and they instead buy a farm, and end up helping in the war effort with an ostrich that lays explosive eggs because it ate gunpowder!) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Curly Howard), Emmett Lynn, Eva McKenzie, Robert McKenzie, and Al Thompson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Three Stooges fans have always wanted to own original release lobby cards from their comedy shorts that show Curly, but they are incredibly rare! In all our years of auctioning, we have only previously auctioned 14 first release lobby cards from Three Stooges shorts that show Curly (3 title cards and 11 scenes), and now we have been consigned SEVEN lobby cards with Curly (2 title cards and 5 scenes), and we are auctioning them in seven separate auctions (and note that this is the only one of the seven cards that we have auctioned before, but it was NOT the same exact card, and it was four years ago, when that card sold for $745). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card had some creases in the left border, with a 1" tear near the center of the bottom border, and some tiny tears and smudges around the edges. Someone performed slight restoration to the above defects without backing the card, and it displays well, but you can see signs of the blank border defects. Learn More about condition grades
