Came hordes of green monsters!!"; "The Martians are coming!"; "Photographed in Color") starring Helena Carter, Arthur Franz, Jimmy Hunt, Leif Erickson, Hillary Brooke, Morris Ankrum, Max Wagner, Bill Phipps, Milburn Stone, and Janine Perreau NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and a pinhole in one of the creature's legs. There were some pinholes, small tears, and a few tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking.
