Cronin; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Robert Donat (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Rosalind Russell, Ralph Richardson, Rex Harrison, Emlyn Williams, and Joan Kemp-Welch. Note that A.J. Cronin was a doctor who had health problems in 1930. He wrote a book called "Hatter's Castle" in 1931, and it was so successful that he stopped practicing medicine and wrote a series of books, all centering around doctors, including "The Citadel" and "Keys of the Kingdom", all of which were made into movies!
