An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Ernest Hemingway's The Killers, the 1964 Don Siegel (billed as "Donald Siegel") crime action thriller ("There is more than one way to kill a man..."; "Explosively New ...in color!"; very loosely based on the short story by Ernest Hemingway) starring Lee Marvin, Angie Dickinson, John Cassavetes, Ronald Reagan, Clu Gulager, and Claude Akins. This was originally made for TV, but it was so violent that it was released theatrically instead! This started Don Siegel on his action thriller career. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases near to the folds, including a long diagonal one above Dickinson's arm at upper right. It had some creases and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
