Sammy Hagar is a rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) singer, songwriter, and musician from 1967 to the present. In 1985 he became the lead singer of the popular rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) band Van Halen but left the group to go solo in 1996. Some of his hits include: Red, Dock of the Bay (Otis Redding cover), There's Only One Way to Rock, Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy, and I Can't Drive 55. As of 2021, Sammy is still alive at the age of 73!
