An Undated (probably 1948) Re-Release (re-titled "Savage Bride" for this re-release) Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Cain, Aventures des Mers Exotiqes (released in the U.S. in 1932 as "Cain"), the 1930 Leon Poirier French tropical stranded-on-a-desert-island romantic adventure sexploitation melodrama (about a French jewel thief who wants to hide and he goes to a desert island, where he ends up in a Robinson Crusoe-like situation, but with a beautiful female island native instead of a male Friday) starring Rama-Tahe (as Zouzour), and Thorny Bourdelle (in the title role as Cain) If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this 1930 French movie was released in the U.S. in 1932 as "Cain", but we have never seen any movie paper from that release, except for two stills. It was re-released in 1948 as "Savage Bride", and the one-sheet offered here is the only movie paper we have ever seen from that re-release. Note that this poster is one of a remarkable collection of 24 sexploitation one-sheets (and one two-sheet from one of the 24 titles) which are mostly from the 1940s, and most of them are ones we have never auctioned before. These are among the most desirable sexploitation posters ever, because they are far more rare than those from later years! Condition: very good to fine. The poster was lightly folded in half an extra time. Learn More about condition grades
