Important Added Info: Note that this poster features a great image of a man who is such a workaholic that he has a sandwich and a cigar suspended above his typewriter so he does not need to take a break!

Condition: good. This poster was linenbacked, but it was either NOT linenbacked by a very talented restorer, or it was linenbacked many years ago, and has received rough handling over the years. You can see signs of the restoration even from a distance. This is a poster that would greatly benefit from additional professional restoration. See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).

good to very good. The poster had a long, slightly horizontal tear running 2" above the middle foldline, and there were extra creases, tears, and areas of paper loss across the middle of the poster. The poster has two evenly spaced vertical folds instead of the usual three, and there was much scuffs and creases along the foldlines. There were pinholes, smudges, tears, and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster had somewhat amateur restoration, and you can see signs of the restoration, and the defects along the foldlines are evident. The person who owned this poster had it mounted to a stretcher and framed like a painting! It has been removed from the stretcher, but now the linen is tightly folded at the edges of the poster. This poster is an ideal candidate for re-linenbacking! If the poster is re-backed, the restorer can surely make the poster's defects much less noticeable (there is really not much paper loss on the poster), and the poster will look great!
