Important Added Info: Note that this is an Australian daybill for releases of Walt Disney Pluto cartoons in Australia in the early 1940s. Many examples of this daybill were printed with the title area blank, and then they would overprint posters with the names of specific titles (in this case, "Pluto at the Zoo"). Note that we have seen a very similar poster to this that has "The Sleep-Walker" overprinted in the bottom area, but it is not EXACTLY the same poster, because the printer information is in a different area! Also note that this poster has full-bleed borders on the left and right and has NOT been trimmed. This was done by RKO with their daybills in the 1940s and early 1950s. Advanced Australian collectors tell us that this is how all the daybills of this title were created. Please do not bid on this daybill thinking that it has been trimmed as it certainly was not. Condition: good. The poster has small areas of paper loss scattered down the right side and paper loss and a small tear in the top border. There is faint water staining in the top right of the poster (you can see a brown outline of the water staining from the front of the poster). Certainly, the poster has real defects, but it is also true that they are not that major, and a talented restorer could certainly remove some or all of the water staining through chemical means, and after proper restoration, the poster will look great!
