In 1981, someone at the Motion Picture Academy had the idea to republish the very first Academy Players Directory (which was first published in 1937), and they hired Bob Peak to draw a great new cover, and they wrote a few pages telling about the revised edition at the start, but otherwise, the book is the same as it was so many years before!
